１．挨拶

Good morning／afternoon／evening.

（男性）sir、（女性）ma'am： 「お客様」

madam は既婚女性に使いますが、初めて会って未婚か既婚か分からない。ma'am は既婚・未婚共通です。
当然、名前がわかって入れば、名前で呼びかけます。


（10代～20代の女性）Young lady：「お嬢さん」
（女の子）Little girl ：「お嬢ちゃん」
（中学生くらいの男性または男の子）Young man

what can I do for you?（あなたの為に、私が出来ることは何ですか？）→お伺いします。 how can I help you?（あなたのを助けるために、私はどうしましょうか？）→お伺いできます。
may I help you?（助けましょうか？）→何か御用ですか。

２．名前をシステムで確認

I need have your name.→お名前が必要です。
Could you tell me your name?→お名前を言ってもらうことは出来ますか。

４．サイン等承諾を得る

Could you fill out this registration form?→（この登録用紙に書き出すことは出来ましたか）
filling in this form.→（この用紙を埋めなさい）

Could you ~ と Would you ~ の違い
Could：can：能力
Would：will：意志

※過去形は丁寧語
Could you fill out this registration form.：登録用紙に書くことが出来ますか？
Would you fill out this registration form.：登録用紙に書いてもらえますか？；ご記入頂けますか？；お書き頂けますか？

ここに、お名前をお書き頂けましたか？：Would you sign here ?
ただし、サインは必須なので、相手の意志よりも、書く必要があるので、"Could" を使う。
「するつもりはない」という返答よりも、「出来ない」の返答はしにくいから。

６．鍵を渡して、部屋までの経路を伝える

直訳：あなたは2103号室に入ります。
日本語：2103号室にお入りください(をお使いください)。

This is your room key.→（これはあなたの部屋の鍵です）
Here is your key.→（ここには、あなたの鍵です）

７．不安を除き楽しみを増やす挨拶

If you need anything, call to the reception desk feel free.→もし何か必要なことがあれば、フロントデスクにお気軽にお電話下さい。

Please　はゴミ箱に

"please,プリーズ"は、しなければならないこと、とか、ぜひして欲しいこと、とか、必要なことに対して付ける。
するかどうかは、相手の選択によるものには、つけない。
従って、please を付けると、いわゆる「上から目線」的な態度となる。

直訳：あなたの滞在を私たちと一緒に楽しむようにお願いします。
楽しむかどうかは、相手の意志によるもの、さらに、従業員とお客様は立場が異なるので、一緒に、というのも言わない。
